We have some really cool toys, but our greatest asset is the talent running the desk. Producer and chief-engineer Matt Ballenger is a true musician-producer that has spent time on both sides of the glass. As a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering with Mathematics Minor and an accomplished inventor credited with 33 patents by the USPTO, Matt has a firm grasp on the technical side of acoustic physics and audio signal processing. But as an active musician, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and recording artist with Steve Sizemore Group, he also identifies with the artist’s perspective. Recording is a balance between science and art, so at MediaBrain Records your projects are in very capable hands.
